Connections Church Dublin, whose main leader is David Williamson, is very simply a group of people who are seeking to live lives that are obedient to God, according to His word and by the power of the Holy Spirit in us. We believe in being a family and have a longing that people experience a sense of belonging, when they join us on a Sunday. We want to see God’s kingdom released on earth just as Jesus taught us to pray; “Let your kingdom come.”
We believe we are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ and his death on the cross, and that through this, we continue to enjoy a relationship of intimacy with God as our Father, as we grow in Him.
We believe in the Trinity. One God in three persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. We affirm the Bible to be the inspired and only infallible and authoritative Word of God. We believe that, according to Acts 1:4-8 and 2:4, the Holy Spirit is poured out on believers that they might have power and boldness to be witnesses. To enable us to display the fruit of the Spirit, and use the gifts of the Spirit.
We believe in the glorious visible return of our Lord Jesus Christ for His ‘blood-bought’ bride – His church. Scripture teaches that heaven and hell are real places and we rejoice that in Christ we have a certainty in our eternal salvation.
Our time together is informal, relaxed and contemporary. We begin at 11:00am and finish at around 12:30pm. We start with 20 to 25 minutes of worship music, led by our worship band. Worship is a wonderful time of setting our minds away from the busyness of the week and to set our hearts on God.
